At Goal Coaching we have a fantastic team of coaches some of which have played professionally or coach at various professional academies,
Martin has over 15 years experience coaching in a professional capacity. He has spent 3 years coaching in America near New York City, 5 years working at The FA as part of the FA Skills Programme (An FA initiative to recruit the top youth coaches in each area of the country) . He has worked with Stoke City Girls RTC and is currently in his sixth season as Head Coach of Manchester United Girls U11s Academy. He is also the Technical Lead of the Manchester United Emerging Talent Centre
Martin founded Goal Coaching in 2018 to share his football knowledge and coaching experience to local grassroots players and increase the participation level of girls football in the local area.
Relevant Qualifications – UEFA B License, FA Youth Award, FA Level 2 Futsal, FA Mentoring Adults, FA Disabilities Coaching, FA Talent ID, Multi-Skills Level 2, Afpe level 3
Plamen is a UEFA B Licensed Coach.
Relevant Qualifications – UEFA B License, Advanced certificate in Science & Football (Liverpool John Moores University), Prozone Level 3 Performance Analysis, BTEC Level 3 National Diploma in Sports Development and Fitness.
Plamen is currently working at Manchester United Girls Academy with the U12s team.
Plamen is a very accomplished coach and can work with a variety of age groups, making sessions fun and enjoyable for the younger age groups whilst sharing detailed tactical knowledge with the older age groups.
Plamen has worked at AFC Wimbledon before moving North to pursue his dream of one day coaching at Manchester United. A dream he accomplished this season!
Mark is a retired war veteran turned football coach. He began his football journey when 2 of his 4 children joined Congleton Rovers JFC and Mark started as a volunteer coach, a role that he still maintains today. Mark is a Manchester United coach and works in their Street Reds programme around Greater Manchester. He is also a Head Chef at the BBC and as such is a great source of information for health and nutrition advice for young footballers.

Mark has many football memories from his time in military service playing football all over the world. His most memorable moment as a supporter of his beloved Newcastle United was flying home from Gibraltar to watch Alan Shearer’s debut and witness his first one-arm salute in black and white.
Football runs in the family for Mark, his grandfather was Bill Curry, Centre forward for Newcastle United scoring 184 career goals. His Great-Uncle was Tom Curry who also played for Newcastle United and as a coach for Manchester United before becoming a tragic victim of the Munich Air Disaster.
Lee comes from a background of coaching at grassroots level. Having run teams for his daughter at younger ages Lee discovered a love for coaching and has taken his learning to the next level. Making him a very valued and trusted member of our team.
Initially sharing pitch time watching and learning with our other coaches. Lee has become a very accomplished coach with a great attitude working with young children.
Lee is qualified to UEFA C license level and is continuing to study to enhance his skills and knowledge as a coach.
